Ramen hairstyle anyone?
I've been contemplating on cutting my hair for a long time. I always contemplate for a long long time. haha. I'll keep saying I'd want to cut it for months and the different styles I want but in the end I'll still have it long. haha.
It's now pretty long and the curls are pretty much gone/are only at the ends. It's about the length in this picture:
Since I've had long hair for nearly 3/4 quarters of my life, I was thinking of getting it shorter this time. Like somwhere above the shoulders or just slightly off shoulder. This haircut would last me till December.
Here are some hairstyles I've been looking at. What do you guys think?
#1 Ramen
Doesn't it remind you of instant Ramen? haha
I think this one's really cute and I was thinking of getting bangs too or maybe a fringe.
But for this hairstyle, I probably would have to style it on my own to get the waves..
#2 Above Shoulder
#3 Edgy
I like this one too because it's edgy and fresh. But yet again, face shape not suitable?

#4 Off shoulder
I like how Hwangbo's hair bobs inwards nicely at the end.
#5 Bob (to the) top
Since my head's quite flat on the top, this haircut might just help me elongate my face.
I'm just worried it'll come out weird and if I don't use styling wax in the mornings, it'll be super messy.
One reason I like to keep my hair long is how I can play around with it; tie it into a bun, ponytail or just leave it. But I usually let it down beacuse I'm to lazy to style it most of the time.
Oh wells, I'll leave you girls to comment and tell me your opinions (:
Meantime, missing everyone back home <3

This video totally made my day. It's After School's Uee, 2PM's Nichkhun and Boom's rendition of Beyonce's Single Ladies.
I'm sure it'll crack you up especially watching Nichkhun's outrageous hip shaking and seeing Boom's perv face.

rollercoaster ride
Anxious, relief, pleased, happy, sad, regret, pissed. That was one emotional bell curve I experienced yesterday. I couldn’t sleep the whole night because I was so anxious that I might have failed macro and marketing. I woke up every single hour between 8-11 am that I gave up on sleeping in the end. When I couldn’t take it anymore, I went to nap after having lunch. Valentia’s sms was the one that woke me up.
I was relieved when I saw my results. There were no failures or bare passes. I didn’t do badly for macro and marketing, which I had ‘crashed course’ within 3 days and both were on the same day, so I was pleased. Then the mood changed to being happy as I knew I did my best but after hearing the results of the others, I got really sad.
Once again, no HDs while everyone has at least one. Was it because I didn’t study hard enough or it’s because I’m just not that smart after all? I regretted spending all my time focused on law and neglected macro and marketing. Statistics wasn’t all too bad, just missed by 1% to score a HD. I suppose I didn’t manage my time well enough and stressed up so much that my brains couldn’t absorb anything.
While I was still more on the happy side, some jerk came rubbing it in saying that since he scored lower for marketing assignments and we both scored the same final percentage, it meant that I did really badly for the written paper (which is true). If not for the way I slogged for the last assignment, I highly doubt he could have gotten 31/50 for his assignments. I should have just given him a C that time. Annoying!!
I’m thankful that I did pretty ok, with mostly high Ds but I’m still upset I didn’t get any HDs. Second year might be tougher to score HDs but I’ll work my hardest. This means, no last minute studying!!
On another note, I met Debo in the evening! It’s quite funny how she called me at 430am today and said, “how come you’re not asleep yet!” hahaha. She was asking me what I’ve been doing and all that. I found it weird how I couldn’t think of anything exciting I have had done. Is my life that boring? Hahaha!
Now I really miss home, my friends and JC life...

hole in the pocket
Since I've nothing much to do, haven't shopped in a long while and there is sales everywhere, shopping is the only thing I can do. And I've spent nearly $300 in 2 days of shopping. Bought quite a bit of things from my 'wanted' list and some clothes for winter but have yet to get a good coat for the winter. It's already starting to freeze!! I bought a really nice pair of boots. Something I've been looking around for a long time. Will put up pictures of it soon. After a nice char siew, roast pork and roast duck dinner, which is a substitute to all the good food we can get back home, we decided to visit the casino. At first it was quite boring since I don't play any of the card games or gamble. But after watching Zhiwei play rapid routlette, I decided to give it a go since it seemed easy to pick up and wasn't too risky to try.
I ended up sitting for 3 hours. It's the way where you see you're winning then later see yourself losing and you continue because you believe that you will win the next round that make you stay put and want to win it all back. That is how people become addicted to gambling. There were a few people sitting next to me who placed really big bets on each number and lost quickly in a few rounds. I wasn't too sure and didn't want to lose big so most of the time my bets on each number are only 50 cents each. Guess they call it begginners luck, I won $40 that night. Not as big a sum as Emmanual's but enough to make me happy. Well, I earned back 13% of what I spent the pass 2 days. haha. But I'm not going back anytime soon. All my eyes could see after we left the casino was the screen full of numbers which gave me a headache. haha.
A fun way to end my week. Looking forward to more shopping (maybe?) and hopefully starting a job too! For now, I really want a fast internet speed so I can watch movies or dramas :(

sleepless was so last night
EXAMS ARE FINALLY OVER!! Thank goodness for I don't think I would have survived another sleep deprived night. I had only 2 hours of sleep before stepping into the exam hall for 2 theory papers! Valentia called me that morning and everyone thought I overslept. haha. The last 2 papers were horrible. I was stoning half the time during macro and had mixed up most of my graphs. Marketing was worse cause I didn't know a single thing. My head was completely empty and it felt like crap. That was the worst feeling I had in my life. Turned out not to be that bad though I crapped my way through it, writing down random examples to back my definitions. I just need 62% to stay in Caulfield. Hopefully that would be the least I'll be getting. Results out on 12 June. Damn fast!On the other hand, I'm free!! Now is the time for me to chill and catch up on sleep. There's tonnes of things I wanna shop for and do. I hope I manage to get a job too so there's extra pocket money. hehe. Everyone has gone back! Plus my housemates are all busy mugging for the exams so there's no one to play with me :(
It's really crazy how I'm done with first year of uni. Absurd how time fly by so quickly. In the past, before I was 18, time never seem to pass so fast for me. May be it's because we have more responsibilities to juggle, more things to do, that time never seems enough. Half the year has already gone by as I say this. 8 months since I've been here. Fast right. I'm curious how year 2 would be; the new people we'll meet, will we drift apart, the stress, the teachers.... Exciting, but intimidating too.
For now, I'll look forward to all the things I can do during the long holidays. Worry about other stuff when they hit me in the face. haha.
PS: I can't wait for Decemeber to come!! Laksa, char kway teow, satay, popiah, rojak! ahhhhh!!!
