what goes around comes around
nice event #1i hate it when i board the bus and tapping my card would lead to a whole string of beeps telling me to PAY CASH. that happened when i boarded the bus from the office today.
with no coins and smallest note a $5, i had to ask the other passengers for change. some really had no coins, others just cldn't be bothered to at least check their wallets. i get really annoyed when ppl do that. every eye on the bus was at me. thank goodness a lady called out to me and told me she had change for $5.
just as she gave me her coins, a 1dollar coin dropped onto the floor. i thought "shit. where the hell did it roll to. omg. the bus is damn crowded, how am i suppose to find it!" cause i'd rather save myself from further embarassment, like crashing flat onto the floor when the bus brakes, i decided not to even try looking for it. however, the lady who had helped me was frantically searching for it. i swear she look like she was gonna sprawl herself on the floor and stick her head under each and every chair till she finds it. after i paid my fare, she was still looking for it. in fact the whole journey she was looking for it. an aunty spotted it and pointed out to her and she got off her seat, crouched down and picked it up for me.
that was really really nice of her. i was very touched. in singapore we dont get many ppl doing that. usually they'll ignore the whole thing or just watch it happen. but this lady was really nice. she didnt stop looking for the $1 throughout the bus ride. i was so afraid that she might fall off her chair or something.
nice event #2
i was waiting for my mum at jurong east macs and this guy was bulldozing around. ok not around but he kept banging into my table as he walked past. he was finished with his meal and left the place, leaving his phone behind. i was staring at it and glancing at him as he left. i kept hoping he'll realise it was missing before he step out of macs, which he didnt. so i went over, took the phone and tried going after him. well he bulldozes so i cldn't catch up with him. with nothing else i can do, i handed the phone to the manager and queued to get something. 5 mins later that guy ran into macs and rushed to the table he sat. he was panicking since the couple at that table told him there was no phone ard. so i left the queue and went over to tell him it was with the manager. he broke into a smile and said thank you in a hong kong accent. that made me feel good. it was as if i passed on the good karma to him. HAHA.
nice event #3
as i was about to leave the counter after ordering, the staff was like "cool belt ah. i like. very nice. G ah. very cool." HAHA. it was unexpected cause who wld really notice? i mean i've worn that belt many times and not many have taken notice. if u're wondering wat G stands for, it means Guess.
those 3 events totally made my day (:
and a note to self: keep at least a dollar coin for bus fares!

now what?
ok results are out. i didnt do well.i can say i expected it but when the real thing is in front of you, it'll hit you harder than anything. i tried holding back my tears telling myself "it's ok, it's not the end of the world." but when joyce cried, i cried too. my mind was full of uncertainty. i no longer knew what was my next step in life. i was completely lost.
lots of room to regret and hope that time can be turned back and that if i work harder just a bit more etc. i know my parents are the most disappointed and worried, esp my dad. i've let him down the most.
ppl say it's gonna be alright. so i'm gonna make sure it will be. be it local or overseas, i'll find myself a spot in a uni and work my ass off to make up for these 2 years lost.
i'm gonna cry it out. think it through and bounce back.
it will take me a while so forgive me if i slip into emoing and burst into tears suddenly, though that wont be very likely. haha.
thanks to my gang being there for me and friends who called to check up on me. it meant a lot, really.
kaiyi is stronger than you think (:
my head and eyes hurt from too much crying.

this is the only blogskin i found that allows me to do the minimal changes.cause i tried to change the font colours in the previous template i used but things just got worse so i gave up.
i dont really like certain stuff on it. shall bear with it for now until i get the codes right and not get a headache from looking at them.
