oops!

went clubbing with shu and gina yest. was fun but the music wasnt very good at phuture compared to the previous time. mambo was much better. i think shu wld definitely say so :D

omg i was like a walking disaster in the club.
i stepped onto 3 guys, bumped heads with 2 people and nearly fell flat twice!
people were shoving and pushing through us so i lost my balance a few times. ended up falling backwards and stepped onto the guy behind me! his face cringed up and he said never mind. but how can u not mind? imagine my full weight on heels then onto his foot. poor dude. but i think it's quite a good tactic to make guys surrounding us to move away.
a bunch of guys were going through the crowd behind us and i was really annoyed cause they just stopped there and the 3 of us cldnt move nor dance. so i just rolled my eyes at them. oops the cute guy saw my bitchy attitude. HAHA

and why are ppl so stupid? some guy thought his standing posture's damn cool sticking his leg onto the aisle. i tripped over his legs and nearly fell flat!! annoying. i hope someone does the same thing and trips him one day.

hu! peng!

meng had invited fran, peiyan, yiting and i over to her house for the cny celebrations. her mum had prepared steamboat and bbq for us. we had a great meal with her family. minus the countless oil splatters that got us all screaming. haha.

yiting had something on so she left after lunch. we pulled out the mahjong table. me being a noob had meng's brother helping me out. peiyan was the mahjong genius. she knew everything. i got lost somewhere along the way. haha. meng got a bit stressed playing it cause she had a hard time counting the babmboos and circles on the tiles leaving holes in her tiles and being not so mysterious anymore.. fran says mahjong gives the mysterious feeling.
meng's brother was blabbing away during the whole game. so much so that it got on our nerves esp meng's. i totally understand her cause i've a 12 yr old that talks nonstop too. boys oh boys. funny how her brother is like 1.5 times the size of mine, voice broken and taller than my brother.
after 3 rounds i finally understood bits and pieces of it but we had to leave as meng and peiyan were going to their friend's house.
we bummed ard in meng's room while she got ready. i love her orange top complete with black tights. so hot!

bimbos

fran complained that i'm weird cause i blog like 1 wk after the events happen. so i shall attempt to be on time with them now.

this year's vday has been the same as the past 18 years. no flowers no chocolates no cards NOTHING! but one thing is for sure. i didnt celebrate it alone. (:

met up with meng and fran for trng. we just stood ard and did a few hits and pushes cause we were lazy ppl. didnt even sweat! haha.
team selection was announced today. reminded me so much of our selection. the tension, the anxiousness, the happiness, the sadness all lumped into one. though we werent involved, we felt like crying too. cause it always sucks to see girls working so hard but not being able to make it cause they missed the team by just that bit. friends separating from the pitch. but the person that felt worse all the time wld be dawn cause she have been doing this for a few years and always the one announcing team.

ms tan came by. it took us a while to realise she was on the pitch. HAHA. it's been eons since i've seen her. still the same old her but changed in someways. the four of us went over to mr prata and had dinner. i think i ate too much. it always happen when i'm at mr prata. i just eat eat eat. i guess it's cause i dont go there often so ya. HAHA. we were saying how we'll help ms tan plan her wedding when she gets married. fran wld be the planner, nick will provide food cause F&N, it's a package. i'll provide the dress and meng will provide the flowers. one complete free package for her. what a brilliant idea fran!

after dinner we walked to the main road to catch cabs home. along the way we talked and laughed at the stupid and bimbotic things we do. those will be the stuff we laugh at when we're old with no teeth, saggy boobs and wrinkly skin.

ok i've updated with 2 posts! (:
~~kaiyi hasnt blogged for eons~~

i guess it's cause i havent been feeling myself lately.
havent been eating well and sleeping well either.
there's so many things in my head but yet it feels so empty.
ironically it feels heavy that i just wanna sleep everyday.
maybe it's the reality that results are coming out soon and the right decisions have to be made in a short time.
maybe cause i'm procrastinating so much and refuse to be thrown into such situations though knowingly i've to face them still.
maybe i'm just lazy.
maybe i really need a break from everything and spend some time with myself.

oh well i'll get over it and blog soon.
dont want to forget those significant times..

kidnapped!

that's what is happening to my friends now.
oh well. i took the day off so i can go to the market with my mum in preparation for cny and later lunch with bev cause that girl is leaving on the 8th.

bev pls take care and blog more often so i know you're still alive there and the universities havent really kidnapped you away from us. keep smiling cause your smile is contagious :D

when i reached sakae they had already ordered half the menu. HAHA. the different coloured plates kept coming till they filled almost the whole table. we're quite sure they served us stuff we didnt order. the chawanmushi's really nice. fran alone ate 4/5 of it!! i think she can live on chawanmushi alone. HAHA. cause we ordered too much, we cldnt finish it and dint want to pay extra. so we ended up putting untouched plates back onto the conveyor belt and putting them into miso soup bowls. the waiters kinda found out just as we paid and exited. oops (:

as we were about to leave wheelock, we met a few people. first chare and elsa which chare went "OMG LETS TAKE A PICUTRE! EH BEV WE'RE BLACK AND WHITES!" haha. she's so funny. then i saw cyn who thought i was going somewhere she thinks i am going but i dont know where she thinks it is (you get my point la huh.)

we shopped ard for a while buying tees and choosing makeup. then before we cld do more walking about bev had to leave for dinner with her class. we hugged and said our final goodbyes. i'm so gonna miss her. our team's super gung-ho defender. a while later fran had to go for church. she's leaving end of feb too. universities have kidnapped 2 of my friends away :( meng wants universities to be in one continent. but meng we still have to travel there :(

after they left, we spent close to 5 hours shopping. spent bout 1 hr or so in body shop testing makeup and figuring what shade or pallette to buy. typical girls. HAHA. then some war started. our mums knew we were out and decided that we shld help them buy stuff for cny. her mum wanted pinapple tarts with cheese and some other nuts or tidbits and mine wanted kueh ban kit and fake nails. so we went from counter to counter testing out the best pineapple tarts and kueh ban kit and fought with aunties for sunflower seeds. ok not say fought but snatch. cause they were so kiasu that we'll be left with nothing if we didnt snatch it.

as if in heels and all the crowd wasnt good enough, we lugged the bags of goodies to far east to hunt for fake nails and a belt for meng's outfit. she was saying how she hopes a guy we know wld come by and offer oh so nicely to carry all our shopping. but we didnt and yet we still managed to finish the shopping and hop on a bus home. by that time it was alrdy 9plus.

i'm so not helping my mum buy anything bef cny again. cause she's busy cleaning up the house and telling me what to get that she says the wrong stuff. then end up i've to call back and ask. and then i get screamed at for not listening and disturbing her. gosh. a mgc moment. HAHA.

shopping is still a saturday exercise!

many werent free today and the j4s werent playing. so meng, fran and i decided to find our own form of saturday exercise.
we headed to town and had a good meal at far east, Gelare. we were about to leave the building for shaw when meng spotted a huge $9 sign. that was when her need for the toilet wasnt so impt anymore. $9 was way way more impt. HAHA.

turns out future state was having a sale. everything was under $19. so the toilet really could wait. we rummaged through the racks and found pretty clothes for ourselves and bought 2 pieces each. everything for below $40. what a steal! fran had to rush off to work so meng and i stayed at far east to shop and boy were we shopping queens.

we were going in and out of shops looking for comfortable shoes, cheapest tights and whatnots. we went from far east to wisma (for meng's chomel bag) to taka for food and then heeren for tights while popping by at paragon to visit fran at work. at taka meng was busy msging while i was aiming for yaki tori. she ended up following some strager for a while thinking it was me cause "i looked up and saw tights so i thought it was you and just followed!" haha meng!
then we headed back to far east to get meng's heatwave shoes which she thought for a loooonnnggg time. i ended up buying a pair myself. by that time the shops have started to close and we realised we havent had dinner. so we headed upstairs to eat while the shopkeeper was cleaning up. took our time cause we were to meet fran from work. just imagine how long we shopped; from fran started work at 4 to 11pm!! haha.

the escalators had stopped working and our feet were sore so we took the lift instead. it's weird cause the passenger lift was next to the cargo lift and they looked alike. we entered the correct lift though. but when the lift reached the 1st storey the doors opened and showed us a dumpster!! we freaked out and just then a guy opened a door and came out. from there it was OOOHHH so it's correct!! and laughing away.
meng said she learnt a lesson: Never follow meng anywhere. Just follow Kaiyi.

we walked to paragon yet again! to pick fran up from work. we plonked ourselves on the couch at the lobby while fran went to change. thank god for it cause if we had to stand any longer i think my legs will break. fran got some food from starbucks and we met fangling and her classmates. i was just telling meng i havent seen her for ages and then we meet her (: renzheng was there too. with his new shaved head. he said meng was really pretty. and we so agree!

cabbed to clarke quay to meet the malone and others to chill out. we hung ard looking at ppl with hot legs/bods and the not so nice looking ones as well. haha. The Clinic was the spot for the night. cldnt stay too long cause i had to meet the curfew before i will be forever grounded. short but fun. like meng says, this is preferred to clubbing.

so who says shopping isnt an exercise! (:
