it took the 8th phone call from meng to wake me up on saturday. heh. so i cabbed down to school and found eleen, shing, meng and malone sitting at the netball court talking. apparently they had finished throwing the frisbee around between the four of them and i thought, "damn. i cabbed down and didnt do any exercise!!"

just then the J4s came to ask if we wanted to play touch rugby. the minute the game started, i felt as if i was gonna die. it was so difficult to run after them and preventing them from scoring. they were like zooming past us everywhere. that's for not exercising usually. haha. after about 20 mins we decided to break and shing had to go so we showered while the army boy played summore. then it was to dover market for lunch. oh my i think it has been a long while since i've eaten chicken rice. the lunch was good esp after the running. shing was really happy and she was one happy bunny when she left. malone headed to school while meng and i bused to bouna vista. well i thought 166 did. but that instant we boarded and tapped our cards i realised 166 goes vivo!! the correct bus was 196. oops.

after 3 buses, we reached parkway parade shopping centre and made a brave attempt to walk to ECP with no idea which way to go. all we knew was just walk towards the highway cause opposite would be ECP. meng said "do you think we can cross the highway to get across?" well meng you say leh? HAHA. oh and i found out 196 can get us to ECP from school. and that was the exact bus that we should have boarded the first place to bouna vista. HAHA.

after walking through the underpass, we did another brave attempt of turning left hoping that it would be the right direction to macs so we could meet peiyan and dory yiting. and we did. i think we're so smart :D the sun was extremely good and ECP was so pretty. the sun, sea and weather was perfect for our cycling.

first stop was bedok jetty. been a long while since i've gone there. when we reached there, a group of ppl was circling a fish. it was flipping about but stopped after a while. so those ppl decided to hook it back to the the fishing line and put it back into the waters. well when a fish is dead it doesnt work anymore. they kept doing that to see if the fish could be kept alive. poor fish.
amazed by the awesome skies and sea, we whipped out our cameras and took numerous shots and played shadows under the hot sun. the wind was so strong, i felt i would be blown away.

we continued riding without an exact destination in mind but only to find a nice spot to play frisbee. we did and we discovered more than what we were looking for. our very own PRIVATE BEACH! plonking ourselves down, yiting started peeling her orange and tossing the skin behind her. well it's biodegradable. maybe next time we go back it'll be edible dried orange peels. HAHA. the water was clear and we took off our sandals to dip our feet in. with the little picnic, sun, sand and see and more camwhoring, we almost forgot that we had to return our bikes! so we hurried back to our bikes and raced to the shop which we only realise was 2395734570 km away from where we were. just as we were half way there, meng crashed into a little boy.

well it wasnt her fault cause he decided to cut into the footpath from the cylcing path without looking if there was anyone behind. meng tried to avoid him at all cost cause he was so small. imagine meng crashing into him and him flying away. i was in front of her. she screamed and the next thing i knew, she was crouching on the ground holding her tummy. she was totally fine with no scratches or scrapes but her tummy had an awful red dot that started to swell. her tummy's stronger than the break handle on the bike. she tried to fall on the bike to prevent herself from getting and scrapes but when she did, she fell on the break handle which was the reason of the red dot. and the handle was bent 90 degrees out. just imagine the whole accident. the boy just came over with his brother and said "you ok anot? you just sit here for a while then can already. ok i go first. bye" and he hurried off. meng was so pissed with any kid that crossed her path after that. HAHA.

tired and slightly tanner, we headed off to our own evening activities.
the whole day was filled with so much exercise. i was really happy cause it felt to good to perspire and feel the sun on my face. now i've a sandals tan. ):

met the arcade gang for dinner at crystal jade cause malone's leaving tmr for tekong.

when meng shing and i arrived at the restaurant, fran&nick was already looking at the menu and have decided wat they wanted to eat. GOH finally came and we ordered quite a bit of food. fran&nick were happily eating and they finished before everyone else did. never order the fried rice cause it is so dry. shing and i didnt even finish that small plate of rice.

xia came the latest as he had trng in school. the moment he came, he cracked us all up. he was saying how counselling's a total waste of time where all the answers you give have to be textbook answers or else they'll just go on forever with whatever they have to say and so you just have to buy the same book they have go home read it and come back. (pun intended with the super long sentence. haha.) we were saying how he's so loud and beng when he speaks to us but when he speaks to his future gf, it'll be soft and loving. HAHA. he took a pict with the empty chair tat's suppose to be filled by his future gf cause "if mt brother can get one, i also can!" we're saying he's gonna be the lao da when he enters army. everyone will kao tao to him. HAHA.

i had to leave early cause MGC was still happening and she had grounded me from going out actually. but my dad helped me out by letting me join the gang for an hour without letting her know. haha. thanks a bunch dad! though short and simple, it was fun meeting the gang again and social-ling. (inside joke) well it's the company that's most impt. dinner at holland made me think of school again. and that made me feel old. haha. i dont wanna grow up. there's so much things to think about when we're older..

to malone: take care friend. have fun at tekong! pray that the barber will give u a nice shave. haha. clubbing and arcade when you're out!

saturday was such an awesome day and a totally satisfying one.
cldn't get out of bed early to met fran&nick to head to AC. meng and i call it the working ppl syndrome. roar.

we were suppose to meet at 3 but ended up meeting bef 5. HAHA. fran&nick were hungry so the rest of us - vannie, malone, meng, xia, eleen, shing and i sat at the food court watching them eat and chatted. we were laughing so loud and as we shared our weird stories that have happened over the past few days that it reminded me so much like school days where we sit in the void deck and talk laugh scream shout like no one cared.

next stop was the arcade. meng and shing immediately started firing at zombies in the game House of the Dead. meng was screaming so much tat it's so funny watching her play. vannie and eleen played some guitar thing in replacement for eleens long wanted guitar hero. vannie owned her in the end. wat happened eh eleen? haha. then it was time for DAYTONA!! xia was super good. he knew when to slam on the brakes and when to shift gears. fran got her fair share of first and she was so happy after that. we were walking ard the arcade in search of nicer games when malone said he'd pay for whoever dances on DDR (which he didnt HAHA). meng and i were the first to get on it. meng was pretty good. she's secretly the ah lian. i bet she practice it at home once in a while. i felt like some octopus ddr-ing beside her. fran&nick tried it too. but fran cldn't take it after 1 min into the first stage. she sounded as if she was gonna cry. haha. arcade soon again ARCADE GANG!! :D

grabbed dinner with the gang then seperated. fran meng and i headed to arena for the Inter-JC pageant. the queue was so long and we were worried that we wldnt be able to get tickets. linking hands, fran got our reserved tickets and then cut the queue. it was so crowded and we cldnt really see the stage. we tried squeezing to the front but it didnt work. in the end we found seats - the best seats ever. THE BARTOP!! we didnt have to be squished amongst the crowd below and not being able to see a thing. as soon as we sat on the bartop, ppl followed. we're such trendsetters. hahaha.

we cheered loudly like every AC kid does and were close to getting sorethroats. luqman shone throughout the whole pageant with his charming smile and clever replies. Rachel looked really pretty on stage too. the results was announced and LUQMAN came in SECOND. though we'd be awfully happy if he was crowned king. but we all know that second's always better than first. Parker form RJC was king and Jayne from JJC was queen. expected but oh well, luqman's still the best to us. HAHA

the night was still young so we stayed to club. we were happily dancing near the stage when guys started closing on us. no kidding. i felt as if i was gonna die surrounded by all the guys. it was totally freaky when a grp of guys linked arms around and jumping to the music. we cldnt take it any longer and ran out of the club. met jeremy when we were outside. he's still so tall 186cm. omg la. he was saying small kids like me shldt go clubbing. wat utter nonsense. i'm gonna miss him when he heads to army. fran meng and i were whining how dangerous clubbing is without guys and we bumped into max and renzheng. we hung out with them for the rest of the night. funny thing that happened was an ang moh bumped into fran and she got so scared tat she pulled us towards max and renzheng. turns out that it was an accident. renzheng had to apologize to him for us. HAHA.

the 3 of us left arena at 230am with our legs all sore and numb but feeling totally satisfied. renzheng was so amused that meng and i danced in heels/wedges. my legs were totally breaking even as sat in the cab ride home. the driver was really cute as he showed off his cab to us, accelerating and slowing down. he even tried to introduce his "very loyal" 36 yr old son to us. HAHA.

it's been a while since i had so much fun. working sucks the life out of u totally. and saturday was such a blast!!

it's mummy's bdae today so i called awfully chocolate to order a cake.
the lady picked up and here's how our convo went.

me: hi i'd like to order a chocolate cake
lady: erm can u please speak louder
me: i want to order a cake
lady: ok which one? the all chocolate one?
me: yea. oh and do u do wordings?
lady: yea but i cant guarantee cause i've to go find cream first. i'll just take down wat u want on the cake first.
me: ok. happy birthday mum
lady: alright. wat time u want to pick it up?
me: 7 plus
lady: name and contact pls
me: kaiyi xxxxxxxxx
lady: ok. bye

while we were talking i kept thinking that girl sounded like shing. and it shing works at awfully chocolate too! after 10 mins, a msg came from shing asking if i happened to just order a cake. HAHA. it was so funny. it was good seeing her again when i collected the cake. thanks for scraping cream to write the words shing! <33

my mum was so upset when we told her we didnt get anything for her bdae.
turns out there was a boquet of lilies and a box of chocolates for her. a pleasant surprise.
we had dinner at some restaurant near RGS primary. it was pretty cool cause it was a seafood retauran plus a place that sells fresh seafood. so the food of course was fresh. i ordered a smoked salmon and omg. it was really smoked. it tasted like charcoal (not that i've tasted charcoal bef HAHA) my dad took my food instead and i ate his. the ambience was good and the food was nice too.

fran meng and i wanted to watch the fireworks at the esplanade but in the end it didnt work out. haha. so i spent new year's eve at home with my family. it wasnt anything big but being with my family was enough.

so the crazy 2007 is now over. no more school. no more exams and tests. i'm sad that i no longer have to attend school for a long while. like i told my brother "arent you excited that you're going to school tmr? i'm so excited for you! ..... maybe it's cause i dont have to go to school anymore.." HAHA. i use to dread waking up at 615am everyday. but now it seems like a huge part of life is missing. something that i've done for 12 years suddenly gone.

now that it's a new year, there shall be a new start to things. i'm gonna get as much opportunity as i can doing lotsa stuff. 2008 is gonna be all about trying out new things and getting as much experience as i can.

1. learn a new language
2. go back for dance lessons - ANYONE WITH ME ON THESE 2 THINGS?
3. get a job in the hospitality sector
4. go out and have fun with my lovelies and make new ones along the way! - so who wants to be my new friend? HAHA
5. be more responsible for my own things
6. understanding my parents more and let them understand me too.
7.clear up my room. it's freaking messy.
8. sentosa!
9. YTF/chicken rice/malay food in school
10. club in total moderation - not that i've been clubbing a lot. HAHA
