when students have no money. they share food.
well it's the start of the weekend and a week closer to prelims. 18days. i think i shld get a counter like the one on gwee's blog. sighsi had lotsa problems with my contacts so i had to go back again yest. went down to bugis with gina and liting in hope to mug at the nlb. but the minute we reached the junction to cross over to the library, it started to pour!! so we had to buy time at tcc. liting ordered an oreo cheese cake and it was served with 3 forks. i think they kinda figured we'd share it. they hung out there while i ran across the road to get my contacts changed. luckily the rain lightened or i'll be drenched badly. when i went back to tcc we felt so bad for spending a long time there and yet order only 1 measley cheese cake. haha. cause it was getting cold too so we decided to get some hot drinks. in the end gina ordered a honey latte and me being a pig, as usual, ordered some aussie potato salad and a chocolate fudge cake before that. it had dried apple inside. but like liting said, it tasted like apricot instead. HAHA.
the funny thing is everytime we order something the waitress will ask if we're sharing it. it made us feel so malu. like poor students still want to eat at tcc by sharing their food. now we're calling ourselves the cheapo 3. HAHA. so we hung out at tcc till 6 and left after filling in the feedback form. it's funny how a lady sitting at the couch next to ours was really unhappy with the service too. she was complaining bout some guy not letting them sit at the couch. i mean seriously why not? tcc was so empty. i filled the comments saying that the waiters made customers feel inferior. how true. oh! the funniest thing was this waitress telling us that we forgot to take our change when it was actually the bill just that we left cause it was an ugly sight with all the coins.
cheapo 3 then went to catch the train but then we got distracted by the thai fair at bugis. they had really nice stuff cause those thai fashion designers are in town with their cool stuff. there was this necklace that had a stool on it. so cute! had no money so just had some eye pleasure for a while before we left and chatted our way home.
it was fun with the cheapo 3. we shld do that more often with the rest of the loner's club. we'll then be called the cheapo 5!! HAHA.

i ponned sch just to study for econs mock but it wasn't any good. till now i cant finish macro. this is wat u'll get for last min work. sighs. i wonder how i'm gonna study for prelims at this rate. i feel so disappointed and loser-fied. it feels like i'm the only one who's dumb and stupid. but i know that's not true if i work hard. and when wld that start? sighs. this term's gonna be a tough one to go through with so much things happening in school. my thoughts {12:00 AM}Friday, July 20, 2007

YOU TREAT ME LIKE A FOOL!
tat's exactly wat ksl screamed at us today.he chased those who were wearing flops, sandals, mary-janes, loafers (is it spelt correctly?) and birks out of his lect.
he was fuming mad i tell u. and i've never experienced him being so angry before. the most was him scolding me for 'arguing' with him which i never did.
so after spending 6+ bucks to cab to school, just in time to be chased out of lect. till now i feel the pinch. it's so painful esp when u're 30bucks close to getting bankrupt. omg. still have half a mth to go :(
gwee, jeol, josh, min, esther, jodie, nas, gina and i headed to holland and settled down at coffee bean. mocha ice blend was really good. but ex. but $1 bread from bread talk made me happy cause it was my breakfast lunch and tea. HAHA. the breadtalk staff was so funny! we entered the shop at bout 9 and they were still baking. one of them was preparing the floss bun. gina stared at him and whispered to me, "shld i get one?" i told her why not and suddenly the guy making the bun was like "you want one?" it surprised us cause we were talking so softly while the music was so loud and yet he heard. mind u they were blasting some weird children cd with weird nursery rhymes. so i went over and got one. some guy further in the kitchen said "why one only. it's fresh" but that didn't connect to my brain so i ignored. after 4 steps i turned ard to get another one. as i walked to the counter, someone said loudly from the kitchen "why you come so early. later still have $1 offer." omg. i swear he meant we are kiasu aunties rushing for cheap deals. gosh.
met lyd and liting aft geog and headed to vivo for lunch and some shopping. it was really fun. hadn't done such stuff in a while. OMG I FEEL LIKE CRAP RIGHT NOW CAUSE I'VE NO MONEY!! like seriously. walking into river island and trying out clothes was a painful and wrong thing to do. i picked out 1 tunic, 1 dress and a skirt. they were no where below 20. 60 after sale, 89 without sale and 89 again with no sale. they were all so pretty that i wanted to dash to the counter to pay. but NO MONEY!?!? i also don't think my mum wld pay for a 60 bucks tunic. let alone 89 dress.
i keep thinking the pink dress looks like a night gown then again it isn't. i'm just odd.

sexy bags
backpack day was a torture to me.my ripcurl-y backpack was so freaking heavy even though it was empty. so just imagine putting a 500ml bottle, calc, pencil case, physics tys, math tys, exercise books, jacket, pe shirt into that bag. it weighed a ton!! it only looked good but didn't feel good on my shoulders or back. i ended up having backache on the way home.
to make things worse, madam saw had a course so econs was cancelled. so it means we officially end school at 1050 if not for freaking PE!! we waited till 310 just for it. i wanted to pon it so badly. but since i stayed till then, might as well go do some physical exercise to loose some weight, though it didn't really help much.
playing floorball was the only comfort. hockey instincts kicked in again and it was so funny how sammuel kept falling down and having to owe my team a drink. sir treated us in the end. nice of him but not nice enough to cancel pe :((

heartwarming
joined the j1's for trng today.the 3 captains are actually very happy. esp me i think or maybe fran's happier than me. i dunno. haha.
it's esp heartwarming to watch the j1s train and trying their best. funny at the same time cause they remind me of myself 1 yr ago. can't push the ball or having to chase the ball cause it goes the wrong direction or can't trap it at all.
this yr they're learning at a faster pace than us cause dawn introduced a lot of things at the first trng. and i think they're really catching a lot. looking great on the pitch (: they were quite happy as well being amazed at how hockey is more than carrying a stick and hitting a ball. they all left trng smiling. which is another thing that made me happy. i hope they'll enjoy future trngs. and seeing the babies taking over the roles from us leading warm up and stretching made me happy too. I DON'T HAVE TO DO IT ANYMORE! wahahaha. but i'm always here to help u babies if u need help. i think u alrdy know that since u've been screaming at me to come early for trng to help. HAHAHA.
a lot of ground rules were set and 3 of us sounded really naggy cause we had to cover a lot of stuff. even donica aunty agrees so yea u know how we were for 15 mins or so.
after trng we just packed and went opposite to prata cafe and ate indian rojak! first time i get to eat it right after trng! plus! we're the new members of the old grp. haha. and that makes me feel even older.
the reality of prelims in 4 wks is sinking in so fast.
thanks to the nice breeze now i'm feeling sleepy. shall stay awake to read my gp package :(

wat a nice date. gina sent me a msg saying that today is a good day to spend time with your other half. but wat other half do i have? NO NO NO. i know wat some of u are gonna say. don't start please.i started out fine in the morning and did some work but as the evening came, i started sneezing like mad. it just got worse everytime i blew my nose. i was so tired and irritated by it.
dinner was a really good meal at newton. something different i must say. every 2 stalls there wld be one seafood stall. it was seafood paradise in newton. we ordered stingray, pepper crab, butter crab, gong gong and bbq chicken wings. it's been a long while since i've eaten all these seafood. the crabs tasted different cause they were grilled instead of the usual stir fried. really goot (: we attacked the food when it came cause it was quite a wait. the whole ambience was nice. open air, cool breeze, smell of food. ever since the food centre was renovated, there were new rules put up. hawkers have a restricted area where they can do their touting and they each have to wear their liscence or they wld be caught by those envitonmental agents patrolling. a huge change from the old food centre. it's much cleaner and bigger, with more seats.
a new experience but a hole in the pocket. those food added up to 90+ bucks. a cup of sugar cane juice itself was alrdy 2bucks. rip off but standard price there.. i'm actually getting hungry thinking of the butter crab xD

the whole week went pass really fast. i did a relative amt of mugging. still need to do more though. the mugging mode is creeping on me.the only comforting thing is i played floorball for pe. like meng, it made me really happy cause it's the closest it cld get to hockey. but i felt so unfit after so many mths of not exercising but i did lose weight and grew taller. no idea why. throughout the game i had a the habit of putting my stick flat to stop the ball only to realise it's not hockey we're playing. haha. had a hard time adjusting. nonetheless i scored a goal. the only goal scored by a girl against a science class! haha.
met mummy to get my contacts and found out that my spare pair of spects had degree that was way way off my correct degree. ew. the optician at tajong pagar cheated me.
more mugging to come! :(
