today we played against MI. final score 1-1. a draw.

the team was all hyped up and ready to play their best and we did. in my opinion i'd say this was the best i've ever seen the team played so far. krystle scored the goal within 3mins of the game. fran crossed the ball into the D, one time sweep from krystle and we heard the backboard. great one krystle! (:

the MI players were all so big in size that our team was kinda afraid when we saw them. but we still went ahead and played all we've got. jialing was so fixed on defending that she totally irritated no.13 it was really funny watching how 13 got so angry all the time MI took 16yard hits. cause it proves to show that jialing is doing her job well (: 13 got so fed up after a while then she switched with 9 to be in right half defended by meng. not much diff i must say. shiyan was so poor thing that she kept getting shoved and bumped by 12. the female umpire warned them before but later in the 2nd half, i think, both of them got carded. i didn't think it was shiyan's fault. AO was the best la. she got elbowed in the nose and started to bleed badly. it took like 5 mins to stop or something. she kept saying "aiya i'm gonna look so ugly now" and was crying. haha. poor girl. she kinda got freaked out by the blood that was coming out from her nose.

things went on smoothly until the last few mins. MI scored amidst our confusion. AO apparently had cramps and she fell jsut outside the D. everyone thought the umpire was gonna blow to stop the game but no! the MI player just dragged past AO and whacked hard. the backboard sounded. that instance, krystle started to cry and the ppl at the bench just went silent. our hearts just sank. it didn't even seemed like a goal. i was hoping so hard it'll be a foul. sadly it wasn't. if we won MI by that one goal, we're definitely in for the quarters. but now we drew with them. when the last whistle went AO's face just crunched up and she cried mumbling "sorry sorry it was my fault". krystle too burst out in tears. Donica too. i cldn't help but tear up too. the team walked solemnly across the pitch, all trying so hard to hold our tears back. we all knew we didn't deserve a draw.

after playing such a great game, i really didn't feel we shld draw with MI. but like xue said, it might be just God wanting us to take the difficult route to get into quarters. why wait till next week when we cld qualify today? maybe He just wants us to top our group and beat RJ and play harder. whatever it is, we still have a great chance to get into quarters and we will.

yest had trng in sch and we watched the video of our IJ match. shiyan had a bruise from the match and it looked really like a heart shape. visit meng's blog to see it. i'm lazy to copy her photo. haha.
then we to holland with ms tan, lud, dawn and meng. after which i came home and did some stuff, which i really can't rmb.. haha. and slept! i woke up at 6+ for dinner then went to sleep again at 11.
today i went to church came home and ironed my uniform, did some work and slacked till now. shit i haven don't geog. rah.
seems like a slacky weekend. next week will be full of trng and work again. sighs.

since i'm bored i'll reply the tags on my board :)

shuhui: hey girl! it's been a while since i've taken bus home with you eh? yes yes it's been nice taking bus home tog cause there's company and we always talk of random stuff. see ya tmr in school. and thank you for having so much faith in the hockey team which ppl say are just a bunch of bimbos and can't play. at least we've won both matches so far!! :)

lyd: haha thank you so much. i wanted to tell you but then u read my blog alrdy. so when i told you it was no fun anymore. haha.

joyce: thanks babes! we will win many many more matches! :)

meng: haha. bet u defenders were so bored during the PJ match. hope u girls will still be able to for MI match. *cross fingers*

won ijc 4-0.
the team played well but i guess we cld have done better. not enough pressure from the forwards and didn't manage to stop a lot of their 16yards. but overall the team played very well.
i didn't get to play cause i think it's my stiff neck. can't turn to face the left so really no pt playing... feel a little sad though cause i was kinda eager to play but maybe not so cause i was terribly disturbed by my neck.
acs barker was playing against queenstown sec for b-div soccer finals and queenstown won. good on them.
ajc also won tpjc in a-div hockey. watched the way they celebrated and it felt so good. winning does really feel good. so we'll have to win MI and then playing RJ won't be a stressful thing. if not we'll have to pray hard that the goal average will take us through to the quarters.

went with meng sammie deb xue dawn mon amanda sher and ms tan to serene centre to have oishi pizza and island!! finally island for me. haha. the staff at oishi is so funny. they do the weirdest things to the customers.. in a fun manner i guess. we talked about our past ccas and all. ludder was in PA!! haha. we laughed till we almost cried. and still no one believes i was in bowling in sec sch. why? burnt caramel felt so good (: more flavours next time. and hey it's cool to work in island but need those connections! :(

yest's acjc vs jjc rugby match was an eye opener. not in that sense but with meng explaining to us, fran and i kinda understood much more than we did. there was this angsty no. 9 jj player. he's so funny that i can't help but laugh and laugh. they went in for the ball and getting tau pok. apparently, someone punched him in the face and he had a nose bleed. his friends were trying to get him to stop moving so they can help him out but he pushed them away. i tot that was really mean. and he kicked up such a big fuss and even refused help from his coach. second half of the match he got a nose bleed again. the few of us were like 'oh man. hahaha.' heard the ruggers didn't play very well and got scolded? dunno. score was like 30+ - 9? i hear diff versions..

when the hockers had lunch today i saw my eyecandy's brother! yest i saw them BOTH one after another. it made me so happy but i dunno why. mayb cause i havent seen them for a while. my eyecandy still looks better than his bro. haha. sad but true. got our school jackets too! really nice ones :)

the hockers had a hard time deciding if we were gonna play a friendly with PJC. in the end we went ahead with it and it was the right choice. cause we won 1-0!! plus the goal was scored by me after going in for a rebound for short corner. pretty happy bout it. BUT i must really learn to focus after scoring and then FACE THE BALL. omg. i missed many many nice passes from krystle and debbie. it's really frustrating. i hated it. and the pj defender was so irritating tat i felt like pushing her away with my hands. goodness. but that's her job. defend.

i met shu mei (mg) and ally (mi). i was kinda surprised that they're in hockey. it was good seeing them again. familiar faces.


keep the fire burning AC Hockers. today's match proved a lot;

1. communication is very impt to allow a good flow and nice passes
2. forwards should chase every ball and put pressure. that's when defense panick and releases stress from the midfielders and defense.

2 more days to 1st A-Div match. honestly i'm excited and nervous. i really want us to go all the way and get into the finals. so we can make full use of our blue slips too! haha. we're all in this together (:

i'm so proud of the hockers!!
we played so well against scc today though we lost 2-3. the fighting was so strong and the hunger to score was there.
PLUS!! joces and i scored 1 goal each today! it's our very first time scoring in a match. joces was so happy that she screamed and jumped all the wasy from the goal to the 50yard line. so cute. and it was really glad to watch the hockers celebrate our goals. every goal to us is important.
we train like tat intensity we had today and i'm sure we'll have many more great matches to come.

dawn had a long talk with us after trng yest. it was the first ever time i've heard the team so quiet. first time i felt that they were really serious.

we know we want it. but cause we play ard and don't do trng seriously. so when we get onto the pitch and play, we play how we train. it sucks to be screaming shouting and feeling fustrated when u're playing. so near yet so far.

we've less than 3 more trngs. i hope we can take each trng seriously, starting from warm up. i know it's never easy esp when school's crazy and teacher's are ragging on how lousy our results are bla bla. but who cares. at least for another 1+ mth.
